Cancer touched my life when I was much younger, when my aunt who had breast cancer died. Then another aunt, and a grandfather died with cancer. In recent years I lost my father-in-law and mother-in-law and a brother-in-law to cancer. A niece was diagnosed at the age of 2, but is a survivor of 20 years. My sister-in-law is a breast cancer survivor. My husband and brother-in-law were diagnosed in 2010, and are 3-year survivors. I was diagnosed this summer and am on the road to recovery.
