My mom has been an enthusiastic supporter of relay for several years. I think it started when my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I've walked with her and supported her efforts over the past few years. I walked for my dad, and also for my dad's parents, who both lost the fight to cancer. 

This year I'm doubling my efforts because cancer has hit close to home yet again. My dad had a successful surgery and has been cancer free since! But a few months ago my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and she is currently receiving chemo and/or herceptin treatments weekly. I hate to see her have to go through this and wish I could do something to help. 

Our fundraiser is selling custom buttons, magnets, or keychains.
